There’s a lot to love about a trip to London town. Here at HURR we are on a mission to promote female-led businesses all over the capital. So we’ve narrowed down the best hotspots to create the perfect one-day itinerary.
To Begin: Start the day right and workout at Move Your Frame
An early morning sweat session is the perfect wake-up call at Frame. With the intention to shake up your work-out, Frame was set up by Pip Black and Joan Murphy in 2007. The business has been built with a clear mantra: “getting fit shouldn’t be a chore”. With their HIIT fitness classes, and six gyms across London, maintaining your frame has never been easier.

To Refresh: Relax with a blow dry at Chlo & Flo

As you've probably caught on, Flo & I often find ourselves buying the same clothes & whilst out shopping yesterday I couldn't help but buy her the same T! Having another proud moment as we stand under our clo&flo sign. A reflection of our hard work and dedication to the business over the last year. #CloAndFlo
Head straight from the gym towards South Kensington for a blow-dry – you deserve it! Named after sisters Chloe and Florence, Clo & Flo is a family affair through and through. Having spent their childhood at their father’s salon, Bellissima, the sisters took over the business in 2008. With Florence as creative stylist and Chloe as general manager, their blow drys have developed a cult following amongst London’s top influencers.

To Taste: Have lunch as Deliciously Ella’s Deli
Located 100 yards from Oxford Street, Deliciously Ella’s cafe on Weighhouse Street, is a must visit. Having published her first book in 2015, Deliciously Ella has continued to champion the achievable and healthy lifestyle. Renowned for her delicious plant-based recipes, Ella recently released her latest book, The Plant Based Cookbook. If you’re visiting, we’d recommend the blueberry pancakes or sweetcorn fritters!

To Attend: Visit the Allbright Club in Bloomsbury

We all know that having a sisterhood can only benefit your career and confidence. Celebrating the women both inside and outside of their network that inspire them, we were joined by a panel of sensational women for the press launch of a new fragrance. The take home tip? We should all own it and lead like a woman.
The Allbright opened last year as the UK’s first women-only private members’ club. Located in Bloomsbury, the club is set over five storeys and includes a cafe, cocktail bar, meeting rooms and a library. Founded by entrepreneur Debbie Wosskow OBE together with former Hearst UK CEO Anna Jones, the Allbright is described as an entire “ecosystem that aims to make the UK a better place to be a smart-thinking woman“. Although you have to be a member to visit, the club are very welcoming to members’ guests.

To Snack: Have a mid-afternoon snack at Blondie’s Kitchen
Meet our second duo of the day, Chelsea Collins and Kristelle Levy, known as Blondie’s Kitchen. The company have nailed the all-American “crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside” cookie and offer a selection of snacks that can’t be rivalled. If you’re still peckish consider a bottle of their cereal milk, or a slice of their original concept, the cookie pizza.

To Unwind: Head home for a beauty treatment with Ruuby
After a busy day exploring London, Ruuby (a beauty concierge app) allows you to put your feet up and experience a world of comfort and pampering in your own home. Venetia Archer, founder and CEO of the “Uber style” beauty app, has been named on the Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list for Retail and E-Commerce. The app connects Londoners with 300 top-level beauticians who offer anything from a manicure to a massage. With her no fuss approach to beauty, Archer has done the hard work for you – now all you have to do is listen out for the doorbell.
To Dine: Eat Out At Palomar Restaurant
Spend the evening indulging at Zoe Paskin’s Soho passion project: The Palomar. Serving a modern day version of typically Israeli food, both Tatler and GQ have awarded the restaurant with “Best Restaurant of the Year” accolades. Paskin runs the eatery with her brother and you can even purchase the restaurant cookbook and experiment yourself at home. Book ahead of time or show up for seating at the bar for lunch or dinner, and dig in – cutlery optional.
