This party season, we’ve teamed up with Oxfam - the leading UK charity in fighting poverty - to make the wardrobes of some of your
favourite faces available to rent, and do some good at the same time. Because rented sequins don’t sparkle any less...
Oxfam is a global community who believe in a kinder and better world without poverty. Together, they tackle the underlying causes of poverty from the climate crisis to gender inequality – supporting people to beat poverty now and forever.
Oxfam has over 70 years’ experience championing sustainable fashion, from opening their first second hand shop in 1948 to launching Second Hand September in 2019. And this Christmas, to raise money for all the amazing work Oxfam does, we’re renting out pieces belonging to the likes of Kate Moss, Laura Whitmore, Carey Mulligan and more. So you can wear a party piece that makes a positive impact.
“By renting those one-off, special garments like a Christmas party dress that might otherwise languish at the back of a wardrobe until next year, you can keep clothing in use and prevent it going to waste. Not only that, but all proceeds go to Oxfam’s work fighting poverty around the world”
There's never been a time more apt to think about what we're investing in. From work-life balance to how we spend our days, our decisions have undoubtedly become more thoughtful. That's good news for your the environment and for your wardrobe – what do you really want to wear right now?
Meet six power pieces from Rejina Pyo to Shrimps that promise to upgrade your season, ahead.
